Mark Griffin
Founder
Mark Griffin is a seasoned leader in business solutions and executive search, with extensive experience across multiple industries. Since 2016, he has served as the President and Founder of Griffin Executive Search (GES), a retained, industry-agnostic search firm specializing in senior-level placements, including Director, VP, Senior VP, and C-suite roles. GES also provides comprehensive team build-outs and engagement consulting services. While GES supports a wide range of industries, Mark has developed specialized expertise in the technology and engineering sectors, with a focus on AI research, biotechnology, financial technology, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and legal fields.
Before establishing GES, Mark held the position of Managing Director at Republic Capital Partners, where he led high-impact real estate investment initiatives. With a 25-year foundation in finance, which began at Morgan Stanley as a broker, he drove value creation across diverse real estate asset classes, including industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, and R&D properties, both for single- and multi-tenant projects.
In addition to his financial acumen, Mark gained significant experience in information technology. From 2008 to 2012, he worked as a Consultant and Program Manager at Salesforce.com, overseeing global office expansions. He later became an independent IT contractor, specializing in IT infrastructure projects. During this period, Mark also earned certifications as a Certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, enhancing his expertise in Agile project management.
Mark's entrepreneurial drive, combined with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics, has equipped him with a unique skill set that spans executive recruitment, business solutions, and strategic leadership.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mark is passionate about AI, biology, physics, and philosophy. He is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying cycling, motorcycling, and hiking with his dog, Tulip, through California’s state and national parks
